I decided to take a 'spur of the moment' solo backpacking trip in
August of 2008. I had never done a solo backback trip before, but after
being out on the trail for 4 hours I couldn't believe that I hadn't
done it already. I decided the Comanche Wilderness area in northern
Colorado would be a great location to 'get lost' (more on that one
later).
